MT. TABOR CHALLENGE PORTLAND, OR Saturday, June 14th 2008

ABOUT THE EVENT:
For the 6th straight year, we offer a great way to spend the morning before Father's day in one of Portland's most spectacular parks. This great event for the entire family (four legged friends included), offers a fun and challenging race with a course that offers up some of the best scenery around. Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, downtown Portland and much more await you as you run along the beautiful and shaded tree lined roads within the park.

The race has a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere and the after-race party is awesome with Island Trio, a fun in the sun sort of band providing the music (Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison etc), Redhook will provide the beer, and Madison's bar and grill will once again offer everyone some delicious eats.

LOCATION:
The race starts and finishes near the bathrooms / basketball courts in Mt. Tabor Park in SE Portland.

START TIMES:
5K 10:00 AM • 8K 10:05 AM

DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION 8:15-9:45 AM
PLEASE COME EARLY

PACKET PICKUP AVAILABLE DAY OF RACE ONLY
FROM 8:15-9:45 AM, PLEASE COME EARLY.

PRIZES:
Top 3 males in each race (The Mark Pitifer Awards).
Top 3 females in each race (Mickey Donnelly Awards).
Age Division awards: Top 3 male & female in each race for each 5 year category from 14 years & under to 75 years & over.
