Run Like Hell! Course Maps

These maps are in the process of being updated. With the city in constant growth ( a good thing we think...) the routes we have are constantly being tweaked to avoid construction and the like. Althought the course will not change much from the previous years, we are in the process of working with the city and approving a route that works for all. Once approved we will update the course maps and have them online.

The course will roughly be the same and here is a description of the terrain...

The half marathon starts with about five miles of flat, then eases into about a 3 mile gradual uphill. At about mile 8 the course climbs and flattens and then climbs again for a total of about a mile (distance, not elevation, the total elevation gain between mile 4 and mile 9 is only about 400ft) and then essentially ends with about 4 miles of rolling downhill.

Click here for a profile of the half marathon course. Note on the profile that you start off at about 80 feet and the highest point on the course is only 487 feet...

There are water stops / toilets at roughly:

Mile 1.5 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 9 / 11
